SAMHSA's working definition of recovery defines recovery as a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential. 

Hope, the belief that these challenges and conditions can be overcome, is the foundation of recovery. A person's recovery is built on their strengths, talents, coping abilities, resources, and inherent values. It is holistic, addresses the whole person and their community, and is supported by peers, friends, and family members.

Recovery-Oriented System of Care

The process of recovery is highly personal and occurs via many pathways. It may include clinical treatment, medications, faith-based approaches, peer support, family support, self-care, and other techniques. Recovery is characterized by continual growth and improvement in one's health and well-being.

Within a recovery-oriented care system, all services should be supportive of recovery. The term "recovery support services" has been used, however, to refer more specifically to a subgroup of interventions — particularly those that focus on enhancing a person's abilities and resources, or recovery capital, to manage their behavioral health condition(s) and to increase their participation in the community activities of their choice.

Recovery support services play an essential role in assisting individuals in their journey. These services provide information, skills training, emotional support, and other assistance forms that help individuals reach their recovery goals. By working with a coach or other recovery support providers, individuals can develop a personalized plan that meets their unique needs.

Next Level Recovery Associates supports the client to help them remain happy and in recovery for as long as possible. We also help people create life systems that work. We are not a treatment center but a concierge service for resource connection and support.

Recovery Associates

The importance of recovery support services is that they provide individuals with the professional and empathetic guidance needed when working through difficult life transitions. In addition, these services often act as a safety net for individuals who may be struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse, or trauma.  

Next Level's recovery associates are highly trained professionals meant to help provide individual support to our clients during times that may be exceedingly challenging or risky. These individuals are hand-selected for each client based on the situation and the client's specific needs. Our goal is to continually lift our clients with compassion, dignity, and professionalism and offer each client the individualized tools they need to succeed in any scenario.

The main goal of a recovery associate is to help their client maintain sobriety, achieve personal goals, and live a fulfilling life. A recovery associate could be the missing piece that allows an individual to achieve long-term sobriety and healing in many cases.

Interventions: 'Family Meetings'

Our recovery support services include interventions, or as we like to call them, "family meetings." These meetings are an emotional time for families where they come together to express their concerns for their struggling loved one in the hopes that they will take action toward healing. Hiring a professional to help facilitate this meeting drastically improves the odds of a successful intervention and the identified loved one receiving help.

Our intervention process is thorough, clinically focused, and utilizes an array of techniques to help motivate a loved one to decide to receive help. Our process always starts with a family consultation to gain more insight into the specific situation and formulate the best possible plan. 

From there, we work with the family to schedule the intervention at a time when everyone can be present and prepare what they want to say. Then, on the day of the intervention, we'll lead the conversation and provide support to both the family and the struggling loved one.

Interventions can be difficult, but they are often necessary to get a loved one on the path to recovery. Next Level's recovery support services team has years of experience and is dedicated to helping families in this difficult time. 

Case Management

The Next Level case management program is a highly customized set of protocols that can include recovery/life coaching, family coaching, counseling, therapeutic assessments, treatment recommendations and placement, medication management, resource guidance, and ongoing support for the individual and their family unit. 

This program is uniquely designed to meet the needs of each client and their families, as we understand that every situation is different. Our case management team will work with you to create a personalized plan that considers all aspects of your life.
