How it Works
We work with clients and their families in making major changes to support their mental health. First, the client meets with our team for an initial consultation. If the client does not already have a therapist, we bring our psychologist and psychiatrist in for clinical recommendations. If the client is in therapy, we work with their therapist to craft an individualized treatment plan. From there, our Wellness Companions work closely with the client to help get their mental health on the right track.
The relationship between our Wellness Companions and our clients is often one of the most transformative of the client’s life.

Signs and Symptoms
Recognizing the signs and symptoms of a mental health disorder is essential for early intervention and treatment. Common signs that might indicate someone is suffering from a mental health disorder include:
Emotional Symptoms: These can range from excessive worrying or fear, feeling extremely sad or low, to experiencing extreme mood changes including uncontrollable "highs" or euphoria.
Cognitive Symptoms: This includes confused thinking, problems with concentration and learning, and difficulty understanding or relating to other people.
Behavioral Changes: Such changes might involve avoiding friends and social activities, changes in sleeping or eating habits, overuse of substances like alcohol or drugs, or significant changes in sex drive.
Physical Symptoms: Often overlooked, physical signs can include multiple unexplained physical ailments, such as headaches or ongoing vague “aches and pains”.
Severe Symptoms: These could be an inability to perceive reality (delusions or hallucinations), thoughts about suicide, or an inability to carry out daily activities or handle daily problems and stress.
